Kathryn Cornish Chartered FCIPD
Kathryn is a training specialist with over 20 years’ experience of designing and presenting training courses in a wide range of subjects for a variety of organisations.
Kathryn began her career in graduate recruitment for companies such as BHS and Unilever before moving into a general HR role. In the early 90’s she specialised in Training and Development, providing a full range of training services for the Sports Council and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Whilst at the V&A she developed an interest in Blended Learning and established a learning resource centre, as well as creating a series of open learning programmes.
She became an external learning and development consultant in 2001 and has been involved with a number of organisations including, DEFRA, the NHS, the Housing Corporation,National Film & Television School, the Met Police, the Rent Service, the Sports Council, Twynham Housing Association, the V&A Museum.
Kathryn’s achievements include introducing management development programmes, successfully training staff to use new appraisal systems and devising professional development plans. Areas of particular expertise are personal effectiveness and customer service. She is very interested in how people interact with one another at work and is qualified to use the Myers Briggs Type Indicator®.
Current projects include a delivering a range of courses, including New Manager Training for Kent and Medway NHS and Communication Skills courses for Kent County Council and Bromley Council.
